This seminar addresses the policy considerations for a pension fund that wishes to decide on whether or not to invest in defence. The various ways to invest in the worldwide defence industry are discussed as well, including the ESG obstacle.
Mr Catechis gives an overview of the worldwide defence industry and the investment case for pension funds.
Mr Heemskerk addresses the issues surrounding the decisionmaking process whether or not to invest in defence, including ESG, risk apetite, and applicable law and regulations.
Mr Hoeve is managing director of ASD Media, a data analytics firm specialising in defence. Mr Hoeve will show which data are necessary to undertand tot be able to make an informed decision on investing in the defence industry.
Mr Houwer presents the Exchange Traded Fund that VanEck developed as a means to invest in the defence industry.
